Wendy's rumored to unveil new Krabby Patty burger in June

Fast food chain Wendy's confirmed it will be introducing a new Krabby Patty burger to its menu next month.

The burger patty is rumored to be made with pollock, the same fish used in the Krabby Patties on the popular children's television show, "SpongeBob SquarePants."

Wendy's has not yet officially stated what ingredients will be used in the Krabby Patty, but it has put out a press release promising more information in the coming weeks.

The Krabby Patty is the signature menu item at the Krusty Krab restaurant in "SpongeBob SquarePants." The show has had a long history with fast food chains, having previously partnered with Burger King in 2005.

Wendy's has a history of creating menu items based on pop culture references, including spicy chicken nuggets inspired by Capcom's "Resident Evil" video game series.

The Krabby Patty burger is expected to be released sometime in June 2023.
