USA comes from behind to secure narrow victory
In a nail-biting exhibition game ahead of the 2024 Olympics, Team USA narrowly defeated South Sudan 101-100. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with South Sudan leading by as many as 16 points in the first half. However, Team USA rallied back in the third quarter with a 21-5 run, which included a game-tying three-pointer from Devin Booker with 58 seconds remaining in the period.
LeBron James led the scoring for Team USA with 23 points, including the game-winning basket with 1.9 seconds left on the clock. Other notable contributions came from Donovan Mitchell (19 points) and Kevin Durant (16 points).
For South Sudan, Nuni Omot led the way with 21 points, while Deng Adel added 19 points. The team played with great heart and determination, and pushed Team USA to the limit.
