Hungarian Grand Prix: Sergio Perez crashes out in qualifying

Sergio Perez crashed out of qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, leaving Red Bull with just one car in the top 10 for Sunday's race.

The Mexican driver lost control of his car at Turn 11 and hit the barriers, causing significant damage to his Red Bull. Perez was unhurt in the incident, but his team was unable to repair the car in time for him to take part in the rest of qualifying.

The crash left Red Bull's Max Verstappen as the team's only representative in the top 10, with the Dutchman qualifying in third place.

Perez's crash was the biggest incident in a dramatic qualifying session at the Hungaroring, which saw several drivers make mistakes on the slippery track.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc took pole position, with Mercedes' George Russell joining him on the front row.
